Check out this great excerpt from what looks to be a fantastic book by Eric Berkowitz called, Sex and Punishment: Four Thousand Years of Judging Desire. It's about the West's gory attempt to regulate human desire. The definition of forbidden sex has changed a billion times over the years, and the fight has been extremely bloody in the past. Berkowitz of course touches on America's war on porn and masturbation, which is still quite lively.Let's not forget Rick Santorum's campaign promise.

I've been w-a-i-t-i-n-g for Here We Go Magic's show at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn for over a month now! It's finally tomorrow night! Joyeux Noel!

The day I went shopping for my wedding dress with my parents, I posted an audio time lapse of the evolution of a young girl's voice recorded over the first 13 years of her life. My parents drove to Brooklyn from Hertford, NC this weekend to watch me try on wedding dresses. We had a pretty sweet time. I was trying to imagine what they were feeling.
